Ruth Cajahuaringa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and outpatient therapist for children, adolescents and adults at STLCFD. She graduated from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. Ms. Cajahuaringa has an undergraduate degree in Ethnic Studies and minors in Health Care-Social Issues, and Sociology from the University of California, San Diego. Ms. Cajahuaringa is trained in multiple evidence-based treatments including trauma-focused CBT, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Prolonged Exposure. Ms. Cajahuaringa is proficient in Spanish. Her interests include working with underserved youth and family populations with a history of trauma. She is a member of STLCFD’s DBT consultation team and is a DBT skills group leader.
