Sarah Darby is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and outpatient therapist for children, adolescents and adults at STLCFD. Ms. Darby studied at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and the University of Pittsburgh. She graduated with her Masters of Social Work from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Ms. Darby is trained in multiple evidence-based therapies including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure for treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder, and Motivational Interviewing. Ms. Darby was extensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) provided by Ryan Lindsay and is a member of STLCFD’s DBT consultation team. She provides adolescent and adult DBT therapy and is a DBT skills group leader. Her expertise is working with children, adolescents and adults who experienced trauma, self-injurious behaviors, depression, anxiety, and individuals with emotion dysregulation.
