Supervisor of Clinical Services
Emily (Phillips) Dreher is the Supervisor of Clinical Services at STLCFD. Mrs. Dreher’s role is divided between providing outpatient therapy to adolescents and adults, coordinating STLCFD’s clinical services and providing staff supervision. Mrs. Dreher graduated with her Masters of Education in Community Counseling at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Mrs. Dreher received supervision and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) training from Dr. Matthew Kliethermes at the Children’s Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis. While there she provided both individual and group therapy to children who experienced significant trauma. Mrs. Dreher also has extensive training in other evidenced based treatments including Prolonged Exposure and Motivational Interviewing. She participated in a 12-month training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with Ryan Lindsay for adolescents and adults. Mrs. Dreher provides training on trauma and she has guest lectured at the Brown school of social work at Washington University on TF-CBT. Clinically, Mrs. Dreher’s expertise is working with children, adolescents, and adults who experienced trauma, school refusal, depression and anxiety problems, and individuals with emotion dysregulation. She is a member of the DBT team.
