Amanda Bohnenstiehl is an Outpatient Therapist at STLCFD. Ms. Bohnenstiehl is currently working toward her PhD in Counselor Education at Supervision at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She graduated with a Masters of Art in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago, and she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Ms. Bohnenstiehl has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since early 2012, and she currently provides licensure supervision to Provisional LPCs in Missouri. Her clinical orientations include Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, with extensive training in each (thanks to Ryan Lindsay LCSW, STLCFD’s Chief Operating Officer, as well as Ronda Reitz PhD, Melanie Harned PhD, and Marsha Linehan PhD). Ms. Bohnenstiehl provides treatment for adults, couples, families, and adolescents. She is a member of STLCFD’s DBT consultation team.
